Still populated by landlords that seem Dickensian, emphasis on the first syllable (yes I'm looking at you current rent-taker), sometimes it seems that as soon as unpacking is over, new bus routes are memorised and you feel a wee bit at home, then it's time to go so the landlord can increase his already exorbitant rent. Perhaps this time he'll find tenants who don't mind if he let's himself in and moves personal things (read: knickers) in their bedrooms whilst they're at work... Who can say, the world is full of all kinds of people!<br /><br />Whine-time over though, and this means it is again time to streamline possessions and turf out those unworn clothes/never to be read again books/broken bags/random papers! So it's time to take charge and ensure that 2011 is so much better! I've never really made NY resolutions, however this year I thought "why not?". I've decided to try living by two little precepts:<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;">Start happy</div><div style="text-align: center;">It is what it is</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Seems simple enough? The first is obvious, just start every day by reminding myself how darned lucky I actually am.
